PRODUCTS
Polyester polyols
Polyols is a group of products intended for the production of a wide range of polyurethanes,
which are created as a result of their combination with isocyanates. Due to their origin, they
are produced in the form of polyester polyols under the trade name Rigidol®.
As one of
the few, we specialize in the production of environmentally friendly products, using PET waste
as a raw material for processing, as well as based on pure basic raw materials. The indisputable
advantage of PET-based products is the reduction in the flammability of polyurethane desired by
customers.
Polyester resins
Polyester resins are liquid solutions of polyester and crosslinking monomers. Polyester itself is produced in plants that provide certain technical parameters, for example. heating to high temperatures (above 200°C) and rapid cooling. After production, it is usually dissolved in styrene to form a polyester resin. Depending on the purpose of the resin (for example, polymer concrete, laminate, etc.), it is modified with various additives, for example, reducing the emission of volatile substances into the atmosphere (paraffin), lowering the heating temperature during curing (copper compounds) or improving vulcanization (amines).
MoreNovolac resins
Novolac resin, due to its excellent physical and chemical properties, is widely used in the
production of tires, V-belts, brake pads, other abrasive and friction materials, fire-resistant
materials and technical felts, for example.
Our products include rubber and foundry
industry, automotive and mining.
Resins for impregnating laminates
We offer various resins used in the impregnation process, i.e. impregnation of the carrier material with synthetic resins produced on the basis of melamine, urea, methanol and phenol.
MoreResins for insulating materials
One of the largest product groups produced by Lerg® are phenolic resins for the production of
insulating materials. We have more than twenty years of experience in the production and
application of resins for insulating materials.
Thanks to constant technological
development and the constant expansion of the product range, our company is among the largest
manufacturers of this type of product in Europe, enjoying the opinion of a reliable supplier
with an established market position. Among our clients are companies from the world's leading
manufacturers of insulating materials from all over Western and Eastern Europe.
Resins for wood materials
Lerg® has been meeting the high demands of customers for many years by offering
specialized resin binders for bonding wood-based materials in the manufacturing process. Using
our products, you can create, among others, chipboard, dry and waterproof, profiled, MDF, HDF
and many others.
To ensure maximum quality and durability of fabricated structures, a
specific type of resin with optimal properties should be used. The binder very often determines
the hardness and strength of a given element.
Casting resins
In terms of casting resins, Lerg® has a state of the art furan resin plant. These materials are a
great way to create many different plastic elements with extraordinary precision. The guarantee
of obtaining parts of the highest precision is the use of the correct material.
The
casting resins offered by Lerg® are ideal for both full and staged casting techniques. This way
you can be sure that with our products you will be able to create very small, precise parts as
well as large ones.
Gelcoats FlexCoat
We offer high-quality FlexCoat® gelcoats, which are used in the production of polyester-glass
laminates as an external decorative and protective layer. It is thanks to them that aesthetic
surfaces are created on various types of products, primarily from unsaturated polyester resins.
They impart hardness and shine while protecting against moisture, water and chemicals. In
addition, they provide an attractive appearance by accurately displaying the surface of the form
and allowing you to change its color.
Lerg® offers gel coats for both spray and hand
application. We have both colorless and colored versions with the addition of coloring pigments
and mineral fillers.
Formalin
Lerg® is a manufacturer of formalin, which is the basis for the further production of synthetic
resins. This is an aqueous solution of formaldehyde (formaldehyde), which is in gaseous form.
This substance has preservative properties and destroys bacterial spores. It coagulates
proteins, so it is often used to create and maintain anatomical models. When using formalin,
special precautions should be taken. It is not only caustic, but also reacts with air to form a
poisonous gas that is highly irritating to the respiratory tract. This product is used in the
production of synthetic resins, adhesives, polyurethane foam, concrete additives and
disinfectants in industrial, veterinary and agricultural production.
